The Leeds United boss seems to be doing quite a decent job….so far.

Speaking to LUTV, Leeds United boss Garry Monk has responded to a question about what the fans think of him.
The 38-year-old replaced Steve Evans in the hot seat at Elland Road in the summer.
Despite a baptism of fire which yielded one Championship win in six games, it has gotten a lot better for the young manager since then.
Monk’s side went into the international break after beating Barnsley 2-1 for what was their fourth league win in five games.

Leeds, who host Norwich in the fourth round of the League Cup this month, have won their last four home games in all competitions and all of a sudden there is a real buzz about the fans’ experience at Elland Road again.
It is safe to say that Monk, at the moment, is a popular figure among the Whites faithful, and the ex-Swansea City boss feels like he has a great relationship with the supporters.

Asked by LUTV about the supporters’ perceptions of him, Monk smiled and said: “Don’t know. Opinion is always divided, no matter where you go or what you do.
“I feel my relationship [with the fans] is great. I’ve always appreciated the support since I walked in. From day one it’s been tremendous.”
Leeds, who are 11th in the Championship, four points off the top six, visit Derby County this weekend.
