Burnley signed Charlie Taylor following the expiration of his contract at Leeds United yesterday.

According to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United believe they can receive up to £7 million for Charlie Taylor at tribunal.

Taylor signed for Burnley yesterday, following the expiration of his contract at Elland Road.

Due to Taylor’s age, Leeds are still due to receive a fee for the left-back.

And Leeds believe that they are set to earn around £7 million from Burnley for the youngster.

Taylor developed through Leeds’ academy, before becoming a first-team star for the Whites.

Taylor played 104 times in total for Leeds, but Premier League interest seemed to turn his head last season.

The 23-year-old refused to play for Leeds on the final day of last term, sparking fury among the Elland Road crowd.

Taylor will now be looking to prove his worth at Burnley, as Sean Dyche’s side look to consolidate their Premier League status.

Taylor joins the likes of Sam Byram and Lewis Cook, who have left Leeds to join top flight sides in recent transfer windows.
