Leeds United winger Hadi Sacko has offered encouragement that he could be available to feature against Newcastle United this Friday.

Sacko was not part of Leeds’ squad which won at home to Preston at the weekend, missing out with an ankle injury sustained against Reading.

He left a comment on Twitter last night suggesting he could be set for a swift return.

Despite his potential availability, Leeds have no need to rush him back.

Leeds are in the play-off spots and could potentially survive a loss, and should not risk anybody’s fitness ahead of the games which really matter, the play-offs.

Garry Monk has options on the wing with Alfonso Pedraza, Stuart Dallas, and even Mo Barrow.

Sacko will want to return and make an impact having faded in 2017, having a stop start run due to injuries.
