Leeds boss’ assistant sticks up for him.

Leeds United assistant Salim Lamrani has come to Marcelo Bielsa’s defence.
Bielsa was criticised by two former French internationals Christophe Dugarry and Frank Leboeuf.
Ex-Birmingham City striker Dugarry was reported by Goal to have said he considered Bielsa ‘a bit autistic’, criticising his at times harsh personal approach to players and obsession with the job.
Bielsa is known in French football for his spells at Marseille and Lille.
Lamrani has come to Bielsa’s defence, calling out the duo on Twitter.
He pointed to the admiration in which Bielsa was held in Marseille, asking if either of the ex-pros managed it.
His message included an accompanying photo of Marseille fans holding a banner with Bielsa’s name.
Lamrani’s comment shows how highly he regards Bielsa and Leeds fans feel the same way.
Bielsa is admired for instantly turning Leeds into promotion contenders when this time last season they were sinking fast.
The season could still end in glorious promotion for the Whites.
