Leeds United have already been linked with two very high profile players in the build up to the transfer window.

Leeds United may not be able to sign Fabian Delph or Dwight Gayle this summer, but the links with the pair are encouraging for supporters at Elland Road.
The Sun claim that Leeds have shown an interest in bringing back Delph, while TeamTalk claim that Gayle is on Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s wishlist.
At this moment in time the pair are proving too expensive to bring in.
However, for Leeds to show the ambition of targeting the pair suggests that they are setting their sights highly this summer.
Leeds’ transfer budget for the upcoming window is not yet clear, but the initial links should provide optimism.

The Whites do appear to be in the market for some high profile additions, and if they had very little funds to spend, then surely they wouldn’t even be enquiring about such players.
Leeds only narrowly missed on promotion this season, meaning one or two quality additions may be enough to get them over the line next time around.
And from Leeds’ early transfer plans, it seems that they do have big plans to make this summer a successful one.
