Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has been pictured in the VIP section at the World Cup clash between Spain and Germany.
The group stage of the World Cup is coming to an end in the coming days and Spain versus Germany on Sunday was one of the best games of this stage.
Alvaro Morata’s opener was cancelled out by a superb Niklas Fullkrug finish as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
This was a fascinating battle between Hansi Flick and Luis Enrique and, on the balance of play, a point apiece was probably a fair result.
Radrizzani spotted at Spain v Germany clash
Most football fans will have had their eyes on Spain against Germany and Leeds owner Radrizzani was spotted there.
Le Parisien journalist Benjamin Quarez tweeted a photo from the Al Bayt Stadium showing Radrizzani in an executive section.
Radrizzani was far from the only famous face in that section of the stadium.
Fans will have recognised Miralem Pjanic and Edin Dzeko as the two Bosnian stars sat just behind Radrizzani.
Does this mean the pair could end up signing for Radrizzani at Leeds?
Well, we can’t exactly see that happening.
Pjanic, 32, is currently playing for Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and a move to the Premier League at this stage in his career is unlikely.
As for Dzeko, he turns 37 in March and whilst he continues to score with Inter Milan in Italy, this doesn’t really smack of a Leeds signing right now.
Also in attendance were Yousef Al-Obaidly, the CEO of BeIN Sports and the Mexican businessman Arturo Elias.
Brazilian former tennis player Gustavo Kuerten was there too, with a real mixture of personalities in one small section of the stadium.
Radrizzani enjoyed quite the day as he also posted a video from the Al Thumama Stadium having watched Morocco beat Belgium 2-0.
Radrizzani may have talked some business in Qatar but we can’t see signings being the main subject of discussion here.
