Leeds United star Stuart Dallas raved about reported Nottingham Forest target Gavin Whyte in 2018.

According to Sunday Life Sport, Nottingham Forest are interested in Gavin Whyte from Oxford United in the summer transfer window, and Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas’s previous comments on his Northern Ireland international teammate will be very encouraging for the Reds.
It has been reported by Sunday Life Sport that Championship club Forest are ready to offer £2 million as transfer fee in order to secure the services of the Northern Ireland international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward.
The 23-year-old joined Oxford from Crusaders in the summer of 2018, and his Northern Ireland international teammate and Leeds winger Dallas raved about the youngster back in November 2018.
Dallas told The Belfast Telegraph about Whyte back in November 2018: “Gavin has done really well, to be fair to him, and it’s good to see.
“He just needs to keep his head down and continue working hard and I’m sure he can go on to be a real star in this team.”
The 28-year-old former Brentford star added: “Gavin has a knack for scoring goals and he gets himself in good positions. He’s a good kid and he wants to continue to learn so he’s only going to get better.”

Good signing for Nottingham Forest?
Whyte is a very good and promising young attacking young plyer, and his performances for Oxford this past season suggest that he is ready to take the next step in his career and join Forest.
According to WhoScored, Whyte made 29 starts and seven substitute appearances in League One for Oxford this season, scoring seven goals in the process.
The youngster also scored twice in three League Cup matches and played in four FA games for his club this campaign, according to WhoScored.
