Leeds United are back in Premier League action on Friday night as they host West Ham United at Elland Road.

The Whites lost 3-1 at Chelsea last weekend, as they couldn’t build on Patrick Bamford’s opener to claim a victory in West London.

Marcelo Bielsa will now be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend, and he has taken the bold step of already naming his starting lineup.

Bielsa confirmed on Wednesday that he will be going with Illan Meslier in goal, behind Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, Liam Cooper and Ezgjan Alioski.

Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich feature in midfield with Rodrigo in an attacking midfield role, whilst Raphinha and Jack Harrison will support Bamford in atack.

Bielsa has been forced into a reshuffle at the back, as Robin Koch picked up an injury agains Chelsea, and even substitute Diego Llorente as a knock now too.

The Spaniard’s absence means Ayling now has to kick in to play at centre back, with Dallas moving to right back – and summer signing Llorente has now taken to Twitter to send a message.

Llorente admitted that he was delighted to have finally made his Leeds debut, but how ‘has to stop’ because of some aches he has suffered since the game, meaning he is out this weekend.
