Leeds United’s Tyler Roberts signing could mean that Glasgow Rangers can focus on bringing Devante Cole to Ibrox.

Rangers have been beaten to the signing of Tyler Roberts, who opted to join Leeds United.
The Ibrox side were tracking the former West Brom starlet for a while but the 19-year-old looks to have snubbed Rangers for the Championship side.
But does Leeds’ capture of the young striker now clear the way for the Gers to sign Devante Cole?

The Sun reported earlier this month that Graeme Murty wanted the 12-goal Fleetwood Town marksman, while the League One club’s Chief Executive Steve Curwood told talkSPORT that Leeds were also in the reckoning.
But surely United have no need to prolong their interest in a development which could mean that Rangers have a free shot at signing him.

It would have to be a quick deal, by virtue of the fact that the transfer window closes tonight at 11pm, but if the Glasgow giants – who could yet lose Alfredo Morelos – want a striker then they might make it happen.
