Ola Aina is reportedly set to leave Torino at the end of the season amid rumours that Leeds United are keen on signing the Nigerian international this summer.
According to Inter Live, the former Chelsea academy star has his heart set on an exit from the Turin-based side have been angeling for a move away from Torino for some time, with TuttoMercatoWeb recently reporting that Leeds are interested in signing Aina.
As per the report, the 26-year-old is not willing to sign a new contract with the Serie A side, and with Leeds chasing Aina, there’s a good chance that the Elland Road side could make a move to sign the London-born defender, especially with the fullback’s current deal due to expire this year.
With Aina heading for free agency, there’s a strong chance that Leeds could sign Aina despite growing interest from fellow Premier League and Italian clubs, with the Whites in need of depth in the right-back position this summer amid uncertainty around Luke Ayling’s future.

Indeed, with Aina having Premier League experience with Fulham, the Nigerian could be a great summer signing for Leeds no matter which manager the Whites appoint in the coming days, with the versatile fullback more than ready to play a key role for the Yorkshire giants next season.
Moreover, if Leeds were to avoid relegation, Aina could become something of a guaranteed addition for the Elland Road side in the summer given how big the rumours have been in recent days linking the former Chelsea academy star to the Premier League club.
Leeds have to ensure they sign Aina in the summer

Leeds already face some strong competition for Aina, with Inter Milan arguably the club who stand the biggest chance of rivalling the Whites for the Nigerian. However, if the Elland Road side can remain in the Premier League, potentially nothing can stand in their way to bring the defender back to England.
With Leeds needing options in the right-sided fullback department, Aina could be an ideal homegrown option for the club’s future manager, with the defender also about to hit the prime of his career after impressing in Serie A with Torino.
