Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United are interested in signing Southampton striker Che Adams, but they are facing competition from Sean Dyche’s Everton, according to talkSPORT.
Leeds want to sign Southampton striker Che Adams
The report has claimed that Everton have been a long-term admirer of Adams and will make a move for the Scotland international striker if Southampton are willing to sell him in the final two days of the January transfer window.
Leeds are also keeping tabs on the 26-year-old striker, described as “terrific” by Rangers legend and former Scotland international striker Ally McCoist in The Southern Daily Echo in March 2022.
However, the Saints do not want to sell Adams.
Too late
In our view, Leeds United are not going to be able to sign Che Adams from Premier League rivals Southampton in the final two days of the January transfer window.

There is no way that the Saints will sell the striker now.
First of all, Southampton are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
So, why would the Salnts sell Adams now?
Moreover, Leeds, like Southampton, are fighting to stay in the top division.
Why would the Saints strengthen the Whites?
