There’s been an exciting new piece of Leeds United transfer news today.
According to Jeunesfooteux in France, the Elland Road outfit are interested in signing former Everton hitman Moise Kean.
The Italy international is on the books at Everton but a difficult loan at Juventus last season means that the Ligue 1 club might well sell him this summer.
Kean joined PSG for £31 million in 2021 [Sky Sports] following a difficult spell at Everton, which yielded only two goals in 32 Premier League appearances.
Leeds are interested in finishing off their summer business with a striker and it’ll be interesting to see if this is a genuine target or not.
Based on Carlo Ancelotti comments, though, the 22-year-old has a lot of potential.

Ancelotti was at Goodison Park with the former Juventus marksman and in June 2020 the now-Real Madrid manager said via The Echo:
“I think Moise Kean has many qualities. He is a great talent and, as I said before, today’s football must surely be based on talent which must however be supported by great character, professionalism and personality.
“Now he is very young. He is a serious boy, helpful and will surely do well.”

It remains to be seen whether Ancelotti was merely being complimentary to his then-player out of a sense of commitment or if he was being genuine.
However, this could potentially be a decent addition by Leeds.
As the legendary manager said, one thing we can agree about Kean is that he is a ‘great talent’.
Still only 22, he can get a lot better under the right manager and it’ll be fascinating to see if that man is Jesse Marsch or not.
There’ll be more Leeds United transfer news between now and September, but this one is worth keeping an eye on.
