Leeds United have been linked with a move for Emiliano Buendia recently, and he highlighted his quality once again at the weekend.

According to a recent report from The Sun on Sunday (print edition; 17th September 2017; page 63), Leeds are interested in a potential January move for Getafe forward Emiliano Buendia.
Buendia is currently on loan with Segunda Division side Cultural Leonesa, who have a partnership with the Whites, and The Sun on Sunday suggested that the Championship leaders may look to use that partnership to help them land the exciting 20-year-old.

The former Real Madrid trainee has shown on several occasions already this term that he is extremely capable of creating goals, having already contributed five assists – leaving him two clear of the next most prolific player in the entire division – but he has now proved that he can find the back of the net in the league also.
Buendia scored a stunning volley from the edge of the area as controlled a cross on his thigh before firing his effort into the bottom corner to restore parity in a game that Cultural Leonesa would go on to lose 3-1.

The game also saw Leeds loanee Ouasim Bouy enjoy a rare appearance as he came on as a substitute for the second-half but was unable to prevent the defeat.
Despite the result, Buendia will be delighted with how he took his goal. And those at Elland Road keen to move for the youngster will be hoping that he continues to bag more goals and assists between now and January to vindicate their recent interest.
