Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe says that Manchester United ace Alexis Sanchez is one of his favourite players.
Sanchez, who joined the Red Devils from Arsenal in the January transfer window, worked under Bielsa for the Chile national football team.
The 29-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as a winger, has been part of the Chile senior team since 2006, while Bielsa was in charge of the South American side from 2007 until 2011.
Roofe, who can play as a striker or as a winger, hopes that Bielsa can make him like Sanchez, who is one of the Leeds star’s favourite players.
The 25-year-old told Sky Sports: “Obviously the natural thing is to do your research and find out a bit more about what he’s like and who he’s worked with.
“One of my favourite players is Alexis Sanchez so as soon as I found out he was the Chile head coach I was excited. If he’s worked with him he’ll know his strengths and then hopefully he can pass it onto me.”

Roofe has been superb for Leeds so far this season and has established himself as an important figure in Bielsa’s team.
The 25-year-old striker has scored four goals and provided two assists in five Championship starts for Leeds so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are challenging for the playoffs.
