Leeds United seem to have turned the corner, after a run of three consecutive victories in all competitions.

Leeds United striker Chris Wood has explained how the Garry Monk revolution could take longer to bear fruit than many people are expecting, when speaking to BBC Sport.
The New Zealand international scored the winner for the West Yorkshire outfit in the latter stages of his side’s EFL Cup win over Blackburn Rovers last night, and he spoke to BBC Sport about Monk’s influence on the team:

“He has just brought his own philosophy, his own way of doing things. It was always going to take time for a manager to implement that on the players; it’s not going to happen in two or three months, it is going to take six to seven months to do it.”
Monk’s tenure at Elland Road began under difficult circumstances, as the club managed just one win from their opening six league game.
Pressure began to mount on the former Swansea City boss, with the notorious reputation of owner Massimo Cellino doing little to allay fears regarding his future.

Monk has, however, managed to turn things around at Leeds, for the time being at least, and has guided his side to a run of three consecutive victories.
The Elland Road outfit now find themselves safely through to the fourth round of the EFL Cup, and sit 15th in the Championship, just four points outside the top-six.
Next up for Leeds is a home game against Ipswich Town on Saturday as they look to continue their fine run of form.
