Leeds United may be in the market for a new centre forward this summer.

Leeds United have seen loan striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga star in recent weeks, as the German now has three goals in his last four games, and five in his last seven appearances as he begins to live up to his billing.
The Whites will hope to keep the Hamburg loanee at Elland Road, but with questions over his future and concerns over the goalscoring threat of Caleb Ekuban and Jay-Roy Grot, another striker may be needed this summer.
Victor Orta is bound to have a number of names in mind, but if new manager Paul Heckingbottom gets to pick a striker to pursue, then Oliver McBurnie figures to be a top target.

McBurnie, 21, has enjoyed a stunning start to his loan spell with Barnsley, scoring four times in four games to give the Tykes a goal threat and, ultimately, hope of staying in the Championship.
The Swansea City loanee was brought to Oakwell by now-Leeds boss Heckingbottom just weeks before his move to Elland Road, and given that it wasn’t Heckingbottom’s first bid for McBurnie, he appears to be a favourite of the Leeds boss.
As reported by Wales Online in September 2017, McBurnie signed for Barnsley on deadline day in August, but had the deal cancelled after the EFL found that the paperwork for his deal had been submitted too late.

Heckingbottom finally landed his man on deadline day in August, taking the Scotland youth international to Barnsley on loan until the end of the season – and a new bid to take McBurnie to Elland Road this summer should be on his radar.
McBurnie was born in Leeds and a move to his hometown – under a manager who clearly rates him – could be appealing, and Leeds should be looking to pounce if given any encouragement from Swansea this summer, handing Heckingbottom a third chance to land the striker.
