These must be exciting times to be a Leeds fan, with Marcelo Bielsa now at the helm at Elland Road, and there will surely be a huge turnover of players at the club this summer.

Quite where the Argentine will be looking to strengthen remains to be seen, but the addition of a young, hungry centre-forward will surely be one of his priorities.

With this in mind, Leeds should consider a loan swoop for Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah after his prolific form for the Gunners’ developmental side last season.

Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!

The 19-year-old is a real live-wire, and he will be desperate to prove his quality on a consistent basis this term.

He will obviously not get that opportunity at the Emirates, however, so a loan move to Elland Road could be the ideal scenario for all parties involved.

What could he bring to the Whites?

Nketiah possesses blistering pace, and his willingness to run in behind the opposition’s defence would provide Bielsa with an entirely different option through the middle.

He is also an excellent finisher, with his 12 goals in 13 appearances for Arsenal”s youth team being evidence of this.

He also scored two goals for the Gunners’ senior side in the Carabao Cup.

Nketiah’s youthful exuberance and hunger to prove himself could prove to be crucial to Leeds’ promotion hopes this season, whilst Arsenal would also benefit from the Lewisham-born youngster being given regular game-time in the Championship.

A good deal all parties involved.
