Will Jamie Shackleton feature for Leeds in midweek?

Leeds United need to be careful in midweek to avoid an upset in the EFL Cup against Football League new boys Salford City.
Too many changes to the team could backfire, but it does make sense to leave out Pablo Hernandez.
Star man Hernandez is 34 and Leeds must manage his game time sensibly.
Teenager Jamie Shackleton could be given the chance to replace him.
Shackleton can play anywhere in midfield and was on the bench against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
He impressed last season when called upon, even featuring in the play-offs.
It might have been an error from Marcelo Bielsa not to use Shackleton more regularly in the second half of the season. He was restricted to sporadic substitute appearances.

If the Argentine gives Shackleton a chance early on this season, it would be ideal for the youngster to state his case.
Leeds need competition, and finding a player who can take the pressure off Hernandez would be such a big help to their season.
