Brighton striker Tomer Hemed is reportedly interesting clubs from the Chinese Super League.

Leeds must reignite their reported summer interest in Brighton striker Tomer Hemed as Pierre-Michel Lasogga continues to struggle in his search for consistency at Elland Road.
The Sun claimed in August that Leeds were one of three Championship sides interested in signing 30-year-old forward Hemed, with Reading and Derby also said to be keen.
Now, the Sun have released another report stating that Israel international Hemed is attracting interest from the Chinese Super League with Shanghai Shenhua in pole position to land Brighton’s number 10 for £5million.

Hemed has impressed in the Premier League, scoring twice against West Brom and Newcastle as well as laying on assist for Chris Hughton’s side during his six league outings.
However, the striker’s contract is set to expire in the summer and there seems to be little movement in offering the former Mallorca and Almeria striker an extension to stay at the Amex Stadium.
That could see Brighton look to cash in on Hemed in January in order to avoid losing him on a free in the summer, and Leeds could be on the lookout for a new centre-forward as Lasogga stutters in the Championship.

The Hamburg loanee was criticised heavily after Leeds’ 2-1 loss to Sheffield United, being beaten in the air on multiple occasions and failing to provide any real goal threat for the Whites in the final third.
It could tempt manager Thomas Christiansen and director of football Victor Orta to enter the January window and Hemed should already be on their shortlist, if the Sun’s August report is to be believed.
Leeds have the money to meet Hemed’s £5million valuation after selling Chris Wood for £15million to Burnley in the summer, and it could prove money well spent as his goals would help Leeds end their 13-year stay in the Football League.
