Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich and Whites summer target Taras Romanczuk find themselves in the same national team squad for the current break.

It was reported by the Daily Mail in July that Leeds had seen a £1.2 million bid for Taras Romanczuk turned down by his club Jagiellonia Bialystok as the Championship side attempted to step their summer plans up a few gears after an underwhelming start.
Ultimately, Romanczuk was to end the window exactly where he started it. And under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds do not appear to have to suffered too much at all by not signing the 26-year-old.
The Whites have been amongst the early pace-setters in the Championship and much of their success has been due to a fantastically-performing midfield unit of Kalvin Phillips, Mateusz Klich, Samuel Saiz and Pablo Hernandez, with Gjanni Alioski also impressing at times.
The surprise of the season has to be Klich. He was frozen out under Thomas Christiansen and many fans would have been forgiven for backing an early summer exit for the midfielder ahead of the most recent window. However, he has fought his way back into contention superbly.

And it is not only the Leeds fans who are recognising how much of a different player Klich now looks, as the 28-year-old has been recalled to the Poland national team for this international break for the first time in four years.
It remains to be seen if Klich has done enough to break into a strong Polish midfield for their Nations League clash with Italy and their friendly with Republic of Ireland, but perhaps if he does feature, Bielsa may want to keep one eye on how he gets on, especially if he is joined in the side by Romanczuk.

Romanczuk has also been included in the squad following a bright start to the season with his club side, and he will be hoping to earn his second cap while with the national team.
Should he play, it may perhaps be interesting viewing for Bielsa if he is on the pitch at the same time as Klich. Given that Leeds have reportedly bid before, it may only take a few glimpses of quality and chemistry from the pair to convince the Whites that they must return with a fresh move in the future.
