Andy Carroll would be a useful addition to the Leeds United squad.

Leeds just missed out on promotion to the Premier League this season, and their players and fans will undoubtedly still be smarting.
The Whites did make a positive announcement this week, however, with the confirmation that Marcelo Bielsa will be staying at Elland Road for at least one more season.
The Argentine did a great job in his debut season in charge of Leeds, despite their eventual disappointment at missing out on promotion.
He will have to strengthen his ranks accordingly this summer, however, if he is to take his side one step further next term.
One particular area where Leeds quite simply must strengthen is their centre-forward department, with the jury still out on Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe’s well documented injury problems.
The problem for Bielsa, however, is that he will likely not be given lavish funds to spend this summer, so he will probably have to be thrifty in his player recruitment.
And with this in mind, Leeds should consider a move for Andy Carroll, who will be available on a free transfer this summer.

Signing the 30-year-old would not be without risk, due to his past injury problems, but his availability on a free transfer substantially reduces that risk.
Carroll, who was once signed by Liverpool for £35 million according to BBC Sport, is a great target man, and he would offer the White a fantastic focal point from which to build their attacking play.
The nine-capped England international would provide the Whites with the option of going more direct if and when the situation arises where a plan B is needed.
He is still at an age where he has plenty left to offer, and he could be a real asset for Leeds, if Bielsa decides to make a move for him this summer.
