The Leeds United midfielder has endured a frustrating season so far.

Mateusz Klich’s spell at Leeds United certainly hasn’t gone to plan so far, with the midfielder having found regular playing time difficult to come by.
Klich has been restricted to just five Championship appearances this season and it isn’t currently clear whether he will still be at Leeds beyond the end of this month as he surely cannot be satisfied with his situation.

Leeds are in FA Cup third round action on Sunday when they face Newport County away, and the game represents a good opportunity for manager Thomas Christiansen to give Klich a rare runout.
If Klich does feature then he will certainly be under pressure to perform as he looks to prove that he warrants more game time, while a good display could impress potential suitors who may want to sign him permanently or on loan this month.

Klich was involved in all four of Leeds’ EFL Cup ties this season and if he is called upon against Newport he will be especially determined to seize his opportunity.
Even if his future does lie away from Elland Road, this game would be an excellent opportunity for the Pole to showcase his credentials.
