Ronald Vieira starred in Leeds United’s win at the weekend.
Leeds United beat Aston Villa 2-0 on Saturday to move fourth in the Championship.
Goals in the final 20 minutes or so from Kemar Roofe and Chris Wood sealed a big win for Garry Monk’s side.
There were a whole heap of positives, but a big one came in the form of midfielder Ronaldo Vieira who yet again demonstrated why he is such a huge talent.
The 18-year-old was paired up with fellow Thorp Arch graduate Kalvin Phillips in centre midfield and the teenager managed to leave a big mark on the match.
The youngster appeared to be tenacious as ever as Vieira won nine ball recoveries and seven of his duels – only Mile Jedinak, Albert Adomah and Hadi Sacko managed more than him in that respect.

He also won all three of his tackles, as well as winning possession back for Leeds in midfield on seven occasions.
On the ball he seemed comfortable and economic in possession, too, completing 42 of his 47 attempted passes – though only 14 went forward.
He also dispossessed twice – only Kemar Roofe, with three, lost the ball more than him – but the positives hugely outweighed the negatives on a day when Vieira proved that he is one of the finest talents around.
