Leeds United have been a regular feature on Sky TV so far this season.
According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are set to bank just £460,000 from Sky TV for nine of their 17 opening Championship games being shown live on television.
Whites fans have made their feelings known to the British broadcaster, with so many of the original dates for fixtures changing.
By the time Leeds play West Bromwich Albion in November, nine of Marcelo Bielsa’s men’s 17 games would have been shown live on TV.
Leeds currently sit top of the Championship table, after taking 14 points from their opening six league outings, and many fans and pundits alike are predicting that they will earn promotion back to the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
Whether their new schedule will disrupt their chances, though, remains to be seen.
The Yorkshire Evening Post claims that Leeds will receive £460,000 from Sky for nine of their fixtures being shown live on TV, and the club’s owner Andrea Radrizzani took to Twitter in response, highlighting how it could be a good thing for the Whites:
