Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley is reportedly on Leeds United’s radar in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Championship club Leeds have opened talks with Premier League side Swansea over the permanent transfer of Bartley.
The 26-year-old central defender himself is reported to be open to joining the West Yorkshire outfit, with the Swans claimed to be open to listening to offers for him.

Familiarity with Leeds United
Bartley had a loan spell at Leeds from Swansea during the 2016-17 season and was hugely successful at Elland Road.
The former Arsenal prospect forged a formidable partnership with Pontus Jansson at the back, as the Whites narrowly missed out on a playoff spot in the Championship last season.
The defender is very similar with Leeds, and his arrival would be welcomed by the Elland Road faithful.

Great move from Leeds United
Signing Bartley would be a great move from Leeds. Not only would the club’s hierarchy get the fans on their side, but it would also see the team become better at the back.
Bartley, who earns £28,000 per week as salary at Swansea according to Spotrac.com, has shown what he is capable of at Championship level, and he would be a superb signing for the Whites.
