Leeds United are now reportedly facing competition from Manchester United among other clubs for Jens Petter Hauge.
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Premier League giants United are interested in signing Hauge from FK Bodo/Glimt in the summer transfer window.
AC Milan, RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg are also claimed to be interested in the 20-year-old winger, who is willing to move to the Italian club, according to the report.
Calciomercato reported last week (September 22, 2020) that Leeds were leading the race for the Norway Under-21 international winger, as covered by HITC Sport here.
However, it seems that competition has now intensified for Hauge, who himself has said that he is willing to make the switch to Milan, as quoted in Gianlucadimarzio.com.
Could Leeds United miss out on Jens Petter Hauge?
Hauge is a very good and talented young winger, but it seems that he could end up at Milan.
Leeds could miss out on the 20-year-old, but the Premier League club should not really worry too much about it.
The Norwegian is one for the future. What Leeds need now is a winger who can make an immediate impact and add to the quality of the squad in the wide areas.
