As Leeds United prepare to face Unai Emery’s Aston Villa, our predicted lineup sees Jesse Marsch make as many as 8 changes from his side’s latest 2-2 draw against Cardiff City in the FA Cup.

Marsch is expected to revert to his usual 4-2-3-1 setup, from the 4-4-2 system that was seen on display against Cardiff.

Leeds United predicted lineup vs Aston Villa

Joel Robles will take his place on the bench with Illan Meslier coming into the side.

Considering Rasmus Kristensen started in the FA Cup, our Leeds predicted lineup sees Luke Ayling being deployed at right-back against Aston Villa.

At centre-back, Diego Llorente and Patrick Strujik, who started against Cardiff are likely to be benched for the usual central defensive pairing of Robin Koch and Liam Cooper.

At left-back, HITC Football predict that Maximilian Wober, signed for £11 million in January (Sky Sports) is set to be handed his first start at the club.

The prodigious Darko Gyabi, who impressed in the FA Cup will be asked to watch on from the sidelines, as our Leeds predicted lineup sees the obvious return of Tyler Adams to the fold against Aston Villa, who recently boldly dubbed Jude Bellingham as the ‘most complete midfielder in the world’.

Alongside Adams, Sam Greenwood is unlikely to retain his place, with Marc Roca set to be partnered alongside the USA skipper.

At right wing, however, Brenden Aaronson, who seems to be well-liked by Jesse Marsch in the position keeps his place in our Leeds predicted lineup against Aston Villa.

Jack Harrison has been tried as a No.10 at times this season, and could return to the side in the same role in place of the injured Crysencio Summerville.

Wilfried Gnonto is set to keep his place, while being tasked on the left wing, after his success out wide in the 2-2 draw against West Ham United.

Up front, Joel Gelhardt is almost certain to be replaced by the in-form Rodrigo Moreno in our Leeds predicted lineup against Aston Villa.

Leeds predicted lineup vs Aston Villa: Meslier, Ayling, Koch, Cooper, Wober, Adams, Roca, Aaronson, Gnonto, Summerville, Rodrigo.

All in all, Leeds supporters will hope that regardless of how the predicted as well as the actual lineup shapes up, their side get the all-important 3 points against Aston Villa.
