Leeds United’s Pontus Jansson was in action on international duty last night.

Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has intimated that he feels responsible for Sweden’s dramatic defeat against Turkey in a Nations League clash in Solna last night.
The hosts were leading 2-0 by 49 minutes, but two goals from Turkey in the final two minutes stunned the Swedes – and the Leeds centre-back.
Emre Akbaba equalised on 88 minutes, before then out-jumping Jansson to glance a last-minute header past Robin Olsen, and the former Malmo and Torino defender suggests he’s very disappointed with the goal.
“We led and I never thought we could lose. I take [responsibility] for the goal at the end,” he told Expressen. “I’m disappointed and p***ed off.”
It might have been slightly his fault, given the Leeds man went for a header that he was never going to get in the first place, but at least he is big and bold enough make such an admission.
The Whites resume their Championship campaign on Saturday with a trip to Millwall and Marcelo Bielsa might need Jansson in his ranks then.
The Lions will more than likely adopt a physical approach and therefore someone like Jansson, a 6’3 centre-back, could be quite useful.
He has only started one league game for high-flying United, who sit top of the table.
