Tyler Roberts has completed a loan-to-buy move to join Championship side QPR just hours after the Whites brought in Tyler Adams – prompting a whole host of Leeds players, and Kalvin Phillips, to react.
Joining Leeds in January 2018, Roberts has gone on to play 108 times in all competitions for the Whites. But the 22-year-old has never really turned potential into proven quality, often affected by a lack of momentum and injury.

A start there, a sub appearance here. With Leeds signing Brenden Aaronson and possibly Luis Sinisterra this week, 19-time Wales international Roberts has chosen to leave. The Mail claim a permanent clause if worth £4.5million.
Roberts took to Instagram after completing the possibly permanent move down south, underlining his delight at joining Michael Beale’s team. With the World Cup incoming, Roberts has chosen to get regular game time.
Roberts has completed QPR move: Phillips and Leeds players react
He is not the only outgoing player this week. Charlie Cresswell has gone on loan to Millwall and of course, Phillips has left the club for Manchester City – the biggest fee Leeds have ever received for one of their players.
It seems Victor Orta is making way for signings, with five now on board – in Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, Darko Gyabi and Adams. Sinisterra is on his way and as aforementioned, a striker is likely to come in, too.
Responding to his post, it is clear that Roberts is well-liked at Elland Road. Liam Cooper, Luke Ayling, Patrick Bamford and others replied – while new Manchester City man Phillips took to his story to wish Roberts well.
