Tyler Roberts has labelled Arsenal defender Ben White as ‘Mr Composed’, as the Leeds forward posted on his Instagram story.

The Leeds United player was reacting to a post from Versus on IG where they were bigging up the ‘rich vein of form’ Arsenal’s summer signing has been in and how some felt that paying ‘£50m’ for the player was ‘bad business’.

Well, White is proving those doubters wrong and his former Leeds teammate, Roberts, sent this simple, yet classy message to the player: “Mr composed,” said Roberts. “Be shining.”

Leeds have played a huge part in White’s rise because he helped the Yorkshire club earn promotion and they helped in his development.

The ball-playing centre-back was wanted back by the Whites when they returned to the big time, but those in the Brighton boardroom were having none of it.

Either way, White has gone from a player that was questioned before he put on an Arsenal shirt to one that should be returning to England colours pretty soon.

White wasn’t picked by Gareth Southgate last time out, but his performances this season have now helped propel him.

Many were left surprised when he was left out of the last Three Lions squad, and unless White falls off a footballing cliff, many will expect him to now earn that recall.

But he isn’t the only Englishman producing the goods at the Emirates because Aaron Ramsdale, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka all deserve those calls.

There could be the argument that all those players are well in line to push for a ticket to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later on this year.

Saka is the one most likely to be picked because he is becoming a regular under Southgate.
