Leeds United have had a closer look at three potential new players.
Leeds United’s under-23 side played a behind-closed-doors friendly against Burnley on Tuesday, with three unnamed trialists all involved.
One of those was a goalkeeper who – according to the club’s official Twitter account – had an impressive game despite conceding early in a 1-0 victory for the Clarets.
The two remaining trialists appeared to be defenders based solely on the other Leeds youngsters on display, although there has been no official confirmation from the club.

It remains to be seen if any of those involved this time round have done enough to secure permanent deals at Elland Road, but it shows the side are not standing still, constantly looking to improve every age group wherever possible.
The January transfer window allows Leeds to register new players and they could certainly do with additional defenders at under-23 level despite the emergence of Jack Vann, who was a substitute against Burnley.
