Leeds United hitman Patrick Bamford went viral last week.

Patrick Bamford has told LUTV that Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa played a leading role in how his training-ground stunner went viral last month.
The Leeds marksman scored an outstanding volley in training last week and fortunately it was recorded, before it was viewed and shared by the masses on various social media platforms.
Bielsa reacted to the wonder goal by running up and hugging Bamford, who set the Whites back around £7 million [Daily Mail] when he joined from Middlesbrough in the summer.
And the 25-year-old, who played his first game since August on Friday as United’s Under-23 lost to Newcastle, feels that the Argentine’s reaction was more significant than the aesthetic quality of the strike in helping it go viral.
He told LUTV: “It was a nice pass from Kalvin [Phillips] and it was just one of them where sometimes it comes off and sometimes it doesn’t. I like to think I’m quite good at doing them volleys.
“I think the thing that made it go viral was the fact that the gaffer came up and gave me a hug, being who he is and how much everyone respects him. I think that’s what made it pop off.”
On another note, it’s great from a Leeds perspective that Bamford is back.
The former Chelsea striker hadn’t kicked a ball for the Elland Road side since August until last night and although it’ll take some time for him to regain his sharpness, it’s a huge boost having him available for the festive fixtures over the next four weeks.
