Leeds owner Radrizzani ‘likes’ tweet from Wolves fan critiquing 49ers deal

Leeds owner infamously criticised Wolves earlier this year.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani was clearly in good spirits today as the club announced a partnership with the San Francisco 49ers.

Radrizzani sold around 10 per cent of his shares, securing additional investment into Leeds United, which fans hope will translate into on pitch success.

The Italian ‘liked’ a tweet from a Wolves supporter critiquing the deal, referencing Radrizzani’s complaint about the 2017/18 Championship winners.

Radrizzani was one of more than 60 people to ‘like’ the tweet below, which joked about Leeds’ new deal.

Radrizzani infamously hit out on Twitter during Leeds defeat to Wolves earlier this year, questioning the club’s relationship with agent Jorge Mendes.

The Guardian reported a month ago that Mendes and Wolves were found to comply with the Football League’s policies.

The Leeds owner at least feels able to enjoy a joke calling back to the row as he bids to emulate Premier League bound Wolves’ success next season.
