Without wanting to look too closely at previous owners, new Leeds United chief Andrea Radrizzani appears to be a real class act.
This weekend he demonstrated that with a simple yet effective gesture which showed why he is becoming a figure Leeds fans are more than happy to put their faith in.
Radrizzani reached out to a supporter and promised club staff would be in touch after learning of a fan bereavement, responding via Twitter.

Radrizzani of course can’t respond to every fan on social media but this was a case where it made a lot of sense to try and help out.
Over the past decade Leeds’ ownership has lacked a connection with fans, even being in conflict with the supporters.
This is a new era for the Whites and it looks as promising off the pitch as it does on it for the team as they gear up for another promotion battle to try and finally reclaim their place in the Premier League.
