Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani was thrilled his side beat Middlesbrough.

Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani resisted calls from supporters to sack Thomas Christiansen over the international break.
Instead he called for unity, pushing the buzzword of ‘togetherness’, heading into Leeds’ fixture against former boss Garry Monk’s Middlesbrough side.

For one game at least, Radrizzani’s faith paid off.
Leeds won 2-1, and moved up to seventh place.
Radrizzani showed manager Christiansen exactly what he thought of him after the victory, embracing him with a warm hug.
Radrizzani and Christiansen are clearly close and their is genuinely warmth between the two.
Yet football is a results business, and a heavy home defeat for Leeds could have forced the owner into a tough decision – Leeds had lost seven of nine heading into the game.
Radrizzani appeared delighted for Christiansen, and that he was not pushed into a difficult position himself.
Leeds now need to kick on and use this momentum moving forward.
