Andrea Radrizzani responded to a post suggesting that Leeds United fans had been ejected from the home end at Ashton Gate.
Andrea Radrizzani has hit out at Bristol City on Twitter in response to a post that suggested that a handful of Leeds fans were ejected from Ashton Gate before kick-off.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side kept their automatic-promotion push on track with a 1-0 win against the Robins, with Patrick Bamford scoring the decisive goal inside 10 minutes.
But it appears that some Whites supporters at the ground did not get to see the game as a post has appeared on Twitter claiming that a group of visiting fans, including two young children, were removed from the family section of the stadium as they were supporting Leeds – despite apparently checking with the club that they would be able to watch the game with those tickets.
The Bristol Post reports that Bristol City are yet to comment on the post, but Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to slam the club and insist that those fans will be invited to Elland Road as guests.
Radrizzani was extremely critical of Bristol City, making reference to Steve Lansdown’s comments after the Spygate saga began where he suggested that Leeds should face a points deduction.
The Italian also suggested that the documentary film crew following Leeds were not allowed access – though the Bristol Post suggest that they were given access, but not to the tunnel due to logistical issues.
