Well, Leeds United youngster Mallik Wilks has done it again.

The Leeds gem, on loan at Doncaster Rovers, is in a rich vein of form for the League One side.

Wilks opened the scoring for Rovers in this afternoon’s 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe United, making it 12 for the season in all competitions now.

The 20-year-old attacker has three goals in his last four games overall and here’s how Leeds and Doncaster fans are reacting to his latest heroics:

The interesting thing here is that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa will be well aware of how Wilks is performing out on loan.

The Argentine likes to keep one eye on how the next generation of United stars is doing, and regularly watches Under-23 games in person.

Wilks will return to Thorp Arch this summer and, on this form, it’ll be very interesting to see if Bielsa can take him to the next level in time for next season, regardless what division the club is in.
