The Blades drew 0-0 with Sheffield Wednesday in Monday night’s Championship clash at Hillsborough.

Sheffield United’s hopes of automatic promotion from the Championship suffered a setback as Monday night’s Steel City derby ended in a 0-0 draw.
A third consecutive stalemate between the two city rivals left the Blades third, two points behind second-placed Leeds United and four behind leaders Norwich City.
There was only one effort on target in the first half, Blades striker Gary Madine seeing his close-range header kept out by Keiren Westwood at his near post.
The Owls then mustered several good chances as Rolando Aarons and Sam Hutchinson threatened United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
At the other end, the Blades won several set pieces but could not break the deadlock as the game finished all square, though the visitors did record a fourth successive clean sheet.
Although United enjoyed 59 percent of possession, had seven efforts overall, and won 10 corners, they could not make it count.
At full time, some Leeds and Norwich fans went on Twitter to poke fun at their promotion rivals’ setback:
Cue some of the Blades faithful hitting back:
Up next for United is Saturday’s Championship home game against Rotherham United, while a big clash awaits on 16 March when the Blades travel to Elland Road to face Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds.
