Reported Leeds United and Newcastle United target Ross Barkley is looking to stay at Chelsea, according to The Daily Mail.
The report has claimed that Leeds are looking to sign Barkley on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
TEAMtalk reported on December 31 that both Leeds and Newcastle have made contact regarding signing Barkley from Chelsea.
According to The Daily Mail now, ‘Ross Barkley is looking to stay at Chelsea as it stands’.
Ross Barkley should consider Leeds or Newcastle transfer
In our view, Barkley should seriously consider a move to Leeds or Newcastle on loan for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old attacking midfielder is not getting much playing time at Chelsea at the moment.

Barkley has made one start each in the Premier League and the Champions League so far this season.
Both Leeds and Newcastle are fighting for survival in the Premier League at the moment.
And both the Whites and the Magpies could do with someone like Barkley who can drive the team forward and create chances.
Now, of course, Barkley has not been at his best for a while now, but a new environment could see him regain some of his old form.
Meanwhile, Sport have reported Barcelona have offered Samuel Umtiti to Newcastle, but they are still waiting for a response.
