Leeds United want Nathan Collins and are now in a fight with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers for the Burnley defender.

The Whites just can’t stop in the transfer market right now having already brought in Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen.

Marc Roca is coming in from Bayern Munich whilst a bid has been lodged for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Arnaud Kalimuendo.

Leeds will chase more recruits as they look to avoid another relegation battle, and they could turn their attention to a new centre back.

Leeds United want Nathan Collins

TalkSPORT claim that Burnley are facing a real fight to keep hold of centre back Nathan Collins after their relegation.

Collins stepped up into the Burnley starting lineup with Ben Mee out injured and impressed for the Clarets.

It’s now stated that Leeds are interested in signing Collins this summer after Burnley’s drop into the Championship.

Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also understood to be interested in Collins as they seek new centre back options.

Burnley paid £12million to sign Collins from Stoke City last summer and would surely demand a significant profit if they were to sell now.

The Athletic noted last summer that Arsenal were keen on Collins and it now seems that other Premier League clubs have been impressed.

Collins, 21, stands at a huge 6ft 4in tall but has just showcased his superb ability on the ball too.

Ireland drew 1-1 away at Ukraine on Tuesday and the Burnley defender stole the show.

Collins went on a mazy solo run, ghosting past three players before pulling off a calm finish with the outside of his right foot.

Physical and aggressive in the air but also capable of playing on the deck, Collins could be seen as the total package.

Stoke youth coach Richard Walker once compared Collins to Harry Maguire and whilst the Manchester United man has his doubters, the Irishman could be seen as a quality addition to the Leeds back line.
