Rae has spent time with both Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town since announcing his departure from Leeds United.

Leeds United have announced on their official website that Joshua Rae will travel with Marcelo Bielsa’s squad to Sardinia this weekend – despite having trialled with their Championship rivals, Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town in recent weeks.
Rae, announced his departure from Leeds at the end of last season, recently posted footage of himself in Blackburn training gear and was later named on the bench for Huddersfield’s Under-19s.
In between, the goalkeeper appeared as an unused substitute the Whites’ friendly at Tadcaster Albion, and the club’s latest announcement only increased the level of confusion surrounding his situation.
It is possible that Rae is simply making up the numbers, with his fellow shot-stoppers Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Kamil Miazek and Will Huffer all absent.

A number of Leeds youngsters have made the cut, with the Whites due to face Cagliari on Saturday.
But there is no place either for Barry Douglas, Stuart Dallas, Ezgjan Alioski,Jamie Shackleton, Jack Harrison, Tyler Roberts or Ryan Edmondson.
More Ayl-ments…
Leeds announced in their statement that the Whites right-back, Luke Ayling, will be out for ‘a period’ after undergoing ankle surgery.

Leeds, Blackburn, Huddersfield or none – where will Rae be plying his trade this season?
