Leeds United are in need of adding another centre-back.

Leeds United still look light defensively this season and have been linked with adding Matthew Pennington from Everton on loan.
Pennington was on loan last season and his spell was mixed, so Leeds should consider looking elsewhere, for a centre-back with sky high potential.
If looking for one of the most talented prospects in football, Leeds should look no further than Manchester City’s Joel Latibeaudiere,
Latibeaudiere captained England to World Cup under-17 glory last season and is one of City’s prized assets in their academy.
A first team breakthrough looks beyond him at the moment, so a loan deal would be smart all round.
City manager Pep Guardiola has sent one player to Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds already this summer, Jack Harrison, and Latibeaudiere fits the bill to.

An excerpt on City’s website describes the defender as having the qualities Argentine boss Bielsa looks for in a central defender: “Joel fits the role of the modern centre back perfectly: powerful, elegant and confident on the ball.”
The Doncaster born 18-year-old could benefit from stepping up from academy football to Championship level, and would provide depth at Leeds.
Leeds would not need any more from him early on other than to be third or fourth choice, but in a 46 game league season, he would get his chances, without being over exposed.
Pennington is one option, but the addition would be a little dull. Latibeaudiere has a more exciting upside and could be a real star playing ‘Bielsa Ball’.
