The Leeds United hitman is cutting a frustrated figure these days.

Patrick Bamford looks a frustrated figure at Leeds United.
On Saturday, he missed a number of gilt-edged chances as Leeds conceded a late equaliser at home to Derby County.
A week earlier, Bamford, a £10 million signing in the summer of 2018, looked annoyed after being taken off at Barnsley. Again, the 25-year-old striker had squandered some really good opportunities.
Despite two profligate performances, Bamford played well in both games, but the lack of killer instinct up front must worry Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa and maybe it’s time for Eddie Nketiah to start this weekend’s trip to Charlton.
The Arsenal loanee, who has scored four times in all competitions this season, is yet to make his full debut in the Championship. He has been brilliant as an impact player, but it’s time that the United boss starts him, at the expense of Bamford.
Rotation is going to be vital for Bielsa this season and perhaps Bamford – who missed four months of action last season through injury – could benefit from a break.
Leeds can’t go on dropping stupid points without Bielsa changing things up and Nketiah for the former Middlesbrough star up front is the most logical tweak if goals are in short supply, which they are.
The Whites have scored three goals in their last three Championship games, which isn’t great when you consider the chances that were created against Derby, Barnsley and Swansea City.
It’s been a brilliant season so far for the English marksman, despite two goal-shy displays as of late. He has managed to score four times in the Championship and a lot more will come eventually.
