Leeds United should lodge an interest in the Everton man before it’s too late.

Everton announced via their Twitter page on Friday that Joel Robles would be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of this month.
The 27-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements at Goodison Park following the £30 million addition of Jordan Pickford last summer.
Robles is unlikely to be short of suitors and is already interesting Getafe, according to The Daily Mail, but should Leeds United try and hijack the transfer?
It’s no secret that Leeds have goalkeeping problems and the Whites desperately need someone to rival Bailey Peacock-Farrell next season because, let’s face it, Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan aren’t going to provide much competition for the young star.

Robles, on the other hand, might. The Spanish keeper, who has been Everton’s number one at times, has done enough down the years to indicate that he could be a fantastic addition in the Championship.
Convincing him to snub a move to his former club Getafe won’t be easy, but it’s a lot harder to turn down Leeds if he knew that he would be working under Marcelo Bielsa, whom The Mirror claim will be appointed within the next seven days.
At Everton, he was earning around £20,000 per week [Silly Season] and it isn’t unthinkable that Leeds could match that amount, if they were willing to go in for him.
Considering he’s free, will the Whites’ Director of Football Victor Orta – also a Spaniard – come across a better bargain this summer?
