Nuno is open to taking charge of Leeds United now, according to The Athletic.

The report has claimed that Leeds are interested in appointing former Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno as their new manager.

The West Yorkshire club are on the hunt for a new manager following the sacking of Jesse Marsch.

The Whites are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

The Athletic have reported that Nuno, 49 is ‘under discussion’ at Leeds.

The report has added that ‘Nuno is in charge of Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia but would be keen on another chance in the Premier League’.

Could Nuno to Leeds United happen?

In our view, if Nuno wants to become the new manager of Leeds United and the Premier League club are determined to bring him to Elland Road, then a deal could happen.

Now, of course, Al-Ittihad will simply not let their head coach leave.

Leeds would have to negotiate terms with the Saudi Arabian club.

But, if the Portuguese boss himself is keen on returning to the Premier League and really wants to take the Leeds job, then we do not think that Al-Ittihad will keep him against his will.
