Mateusz Bogusz has claimed he will leave Leeds United on loan this summer.
Bogusz arrived at Leeds from Ruch Chorzow in January 2019 and has played twice for the Whites so far.
But speaking to TVP Sport in his homeland, the Polish teen revealed that sitting on the bench ‘does not turn me on any more’.
“I wanted to go on loan this season, but (the Leeds manager, Marcelo) Bielsa didn’t let anyone go,” said Bogusz, discussing his future at Elland Road. “Now I will be gone one hundred per cent, we’ve already talked about it. First I will sign a new contract and then I will go on loan.“
Asked if a return to the Championship – where his former Leeds Under-23 team coach, Carlos Corberan, moved this week with Huddersfield Town – Bogusz added: “I do not know yet. I have various offers, but I have to deal with the club because they said they won’t let me anywhere. I don’t know yet whether the Championship or to another country. I think that in days I will know where I will go.”

Bogusz’s existing Leeds deal is due to expire at the end of next season.
He previously played 33 times for Ruch Chorzow and made his senior debut for the Polish side at the age of 16.
A move to Huddersfield, who are losing attacking midfielders Emile Smith Rowe, Chris Willock and Andy King this summer, could be a decent fit for Bogusz, under Corberan’s leadership.
