Bielsa’s Leeds have a number of players on the treatment table, but one on loan has suffered a horrific injury.

Leeds United midfielder Eunan O’Kane, who joined League One side Luton Town on loan this summer, has posted on Instagram after suffering a horrific double leg break – and two former Whites stars have reacted on Instagram.
O’Kane, 28, was frozen out of the Leeds squad by Marcelo Bielsa this summer after the return of Mateusz Klich and the signing of Lewis Baker. He was not given a squad number for the 2018-19 season.
It saw the Ireland international finally depart, joining Luton on loan but in his fourth appearances for The Hatters, he suffered the injury after coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers.
O’Kane posted on Instagram, describing the injury as “the worst experience of my life” before thanking the Luton medical team and fans for the support he has received over the last few days.
O’Kane confirmed that he has undergone an operation that has seen a rod and screws inserted into his leg, and Luton’s website stated that he will return to Leeds when it is time for the rehabilitation process to kick in.
Former Leeds star Ronaldo Vieira commented on his Instagram, wishing the Irish midfielder well after playing alongside him last season as well as former Whites loanee Mustapha Carayol, who played alongside O’Kane at Torquay United.

Leeds are next in action against Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon at Elland Road, as Bielsa’s side look to maintain their unbeaten run in the Championship and extend their lead at the top of the table.
