Inter Milan will reportedly scout Leeds United star Tyler Adams at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tonight, with the Italian giants seemingly showing an interest in signing the USA captain.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will have sporting director Piero Ausilio in attendance for America’s clash against Iran, with both nations having a chance of progressing from the group alongside England, who take on Wales in the other fixture this evening.
Adams has been one of the USA’s best players at the World Cup this year with the Leeds midfielder proving to be an incredible leader both on and off the pitch, with Stephen Warnock hailing the former RB Leipzig star as a ‘machine’ based on his performance against England last Friday.
The 23-year-old only joined Leeds in the summer for a reported £20m. However, Adams’ stock has risen considerably over this World Cup despite the US failing to win a match so far in Qatar, and Inter could soon make a move to sign the New York-born dynamo.

Indeed, Inter have used the World Cup as an opportunity to scout players ahead of the January transfer window, and Adams could soon emerge as a target for Nerazzurri if the midfielder helps the USA progress to the next round in a win against Iran.
Whilst a January move is impossible given how recently Leeds signed Adams, a move in the summer could be on the cards if Inter continue to follow the midfielder after the World Cup, something that could worry the Whites in 2023 after this Premier League season.
Inter Milan signing Adams could become a possibility next summer

Leeds landed on a gem in Adams this summer, with Jesse Marsch getting the best out of the American international as the midfielder has taken his reputation to the next level at the World Cup this winter. However, this could all lead to Inter signing the 23-year-old next year.
After all, Adams will find it hard to refuse a club as big as Inter if they were to come in with a respectable offer in the summer window. And with Leeds’ Premier League safety still on the line, where the Whites’ finish this season could determine if the midfielder remains in Yorkshire or makes the move to Milan.
