Leeds United-owned Yosuke Ideguchi was withdrawn at half time for loan club Cultural Leonesa on Sunday.

It seems like there might be a lot of work to do before Yosuke Ideguchi is ready for Leeds United.
The Japan international joined Leeds in a £500,000 deal (BBC Sport) in January but was immediately loaned to Culturla Leonesa in the second tier of Spanish football.
But his stint in Spain hadn’t been going well and things went from bad to worse this past weekend.

The 21-year-old had only earned 63 minutes of first-team football for Leonesa prior to Sunday’s visit of Rayo Vallecano, but he was given a full debut and suffice to say he might’ve blown the chance.
Ideguchi was withdrawn at half time in yesterday 3-2 defeat and it doesn’t bode well for his long-term hopes at Leeds at this moment in time.
The substitution did not appear to be linked to an injury, after a fan account for the Spanish club suggested on Twitter that he is “galaxies away” from the required standard.

For now, he patently isn’t considered good enough for Leonesa – who sit three points adrift of safety in the 22-team Segunda division – and it seems like there is a ways to go before he is good enough for the Whites.
There are worrying similarities between Ideguchi and Ouasim Bouy, who made just two appearances for Leonesa during the first half of the season prior to his loan being terminated, and the former Gamba Osaka midfielder has a mountain to climb if he is to be any more successful in Spain than the Dutchman.
