Mateusz Klich has impressed since leaving Leeds to join FC Utrecht on loan.
Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has taken to life back in the Netherlands after moving on loan to FC Utrecht in January, already becoming one of the first names on the team sheet with the Eredivisie side.
The 27-year-old has started his last three matches with the top-flight outfit, helping to connect the midfield and attack in the number 10 role as Utrecht pick up seven points from a possible nine.
It is obvious that the 10-time Poland international is enjoying his football once again, and he proved just that by uploading a video of a wondergoal he scored in Utrecht training on Wednesday afternoon.
Klich showed a side to his footballing abilities that remains unbeknown to Leeds fans by picking the ball up around 25 yards out and curling an exquisite effort into the top corner.
Joining Yorkshire giants Leeds last summer for a fee believed to be around £1.5million from another Eredivisie club – FC Twente – Klich failed to have an impact with Ronaldo Vieira, Kalvin Phillips, Adam Forshaw and Eunan O’Kane ahead of him in the pecking order.
He managed just 10 appearances but Leeds may be ruing their decision not to give the former Wolfsburg man more game time as he continues to show the Whites what they are missing.
